Koala Sim guarantees that no artificial speed throttling or data caps are applied directly by Koala Sim to its Unlimited plans. If Koala Sim applies any artificial speed limiter, usage-triggered throttle, or predefined data cap to an Unlimited plan, the affected customer is eligible for a full refund under the terms on this page.

What This Guarantee Covers

This guarantee applies exclusively to Unlimited plans.

It covers any artificial limitation applied directly by Koala Sim, including:

  • Predefined speed caps
  • Usage-triggered speed reduction
  • Volume-based throttling
  • Artificial bandwidth limiting
  • Predefined daily or total data caps

If Koala Sim applies any such artificial limitation to an Unlimited plan, a full refund will be issued.

What This Guarantee Does Not Cover

This guarantee does not apply to performance variation caused by factors outside Koala Sim’s direct control, including:

  • Natural network congestion
  • Local carrier or roaming partner speed variability
  • Signal strength or coverage limitations
  • Peak-hour slowdowns
  • Device limitations
  • Roaming partner network management policies

This guarantee applies only to artificial throttling or data caps applied directly by Koala Sim.

Verification of artificial throttling is determined using Koala Sim’s internal network and provisioning logs.

  • Perceived slow speed alone does not qualify.

  • Only confirmed artificial speed limitation applied directly by Koala Sim qualifies.
